Ida Development

Number Two Piggeries (N2P) have invested in a block of land in Ida, situated between Indwe and Elliot in the Eastern Cape province.

We are excited to get underway with this new development in partnership with N2P. The plan is to develop two mega sized Piggeries similar to the Chalala

farms in Cape Town. In addition we will build two dairies where we plan to milk 3000 cows.

Construction on the first dairy, Ida one, is underway and we are targeting to be

operational by July 2019. Our first lot of heifers are already at Ida and are

due to calve in July.

Just Milk is always looking for opportunities to grow its business and its people and this is one of those initiatives where we will not only be expanding our herd numbers but will also be creating new opportunities for people within our business as well as the extended community through temporary employment during the construction phase as well as permanent employment post development.
