Just Milk student as hostel Head Boy

At Just Milk, we recognise that our people are what make us successful. We are passionate about our people and playing a part in making them and their families succeed alongside the business. We are proud to announce that Ayabonga Mbola (part of the Just Milk family) has been appointed as Head Boy of the Gill junior hostel for 2020.

In 2012, Just Milk sponsored Ayabonga Mbola to start his grade 2 year at Gill Primary after showing great potential through has grade 1 results.  Ayabonga’s father, Zanele, is a farm worker on Just Milk Riverside and has been with the company since 2001. His mother, Elizabeth, is a domestic worker and has been working for the same family on the farm for almost 11 years now.

With this sponsorship, Ayabonga also attended boarding school and even though it was tough for a 7-year-old, he adapted well and soon settled in.  His results have been consistently good and show great promise. Ayabonga is a very avid cricket player and has already represented the under 13 A team, even though he is only in grade 6. He has truly made the most of the opportunity and is popular with his peers and teachers. 

Ayabonga has been chosen as Head Boy of the Gill junior hostel for 2020. We are thrilled to hear this news and are so proud of him for always doing his best and doing himself, his parents and us proud.
